WILD POSTING
Inspired by the work of Salvador Dali, I designed four posters for his Chicago exhibition. Each poster’s different color and uses four of his different peices combined to make one background. The typography used was inspired by the surrealism and spontaneity of his works.
WORK IN PROGRESS
Starting this project I edited three of Dali’s pieces in photoshop to create a backdrop. Then I overlapped the images with typography trying to play with hierarchy and different grid form.
After my initial ideation, I went back and pushed the typography and colors even more. I separated the four posters by colors in order to convey that there are four separate posters working in tangent. I also increased the difference in my typography’s hierarchy.
